Colleen Lawson<\/strong> (AKA Awesome Lawson<\/em><\/strong>) – is a proud product of agriculture education and the FFA. A three-time wildcat, she earned her Bachelor\u2019s degree, Teaching credential, and Masters\u2019 in Ag Education from Chico State. Her career began in the agriculture industry as a commodities sales representative where she broke the glass ceiling as the first female commodity rep for her company. Her first month in the field she doubled sales of a dwindling product and within her third year negotiated a million-dollar sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her passion for youth leadership<\/strong> and CTE programs brought her back to the classroom in 2012. She spent a decade as a high school agriculture teacher while simultaneously engaging with partners in education<\/strong>, mentoring new professionals, and motivating audiences across the state. Colleen leads with fearless authenticity and is driven to help every audience activate the change needed to take their vision from almost to “awesome!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
